Asbarez: Narod Ardhaldjian Children’s Library Opens in Lebanon
BEIRUT – The Narod Armenian Children’s Cultural Institute and the Armenian Relief Cross of Lebanon recently celebrated the inauguration and opening of the Narod Ardhaldjian Children’s Library in the Armenian-populated area of Bourj Hammoud in Beirut, Lebanon on Saturday, March 30. The NACCI sponsored the renovation of the already existing children’s library and dedicated its name to the memory of two-and-a-half-year-old Narod Ardhaldjian. Narod and mother Ani Coherian Ardhaldjian died aboard US Air flight 427, on Sept 8, 1994 in Pittsburgh. The opening was expressly held five days after Narod’s fourth birthday.
