Asbarez: The Narod Institute Introduces Postcards by Kardash Onnig

NEW YORK – The Narod Armenian Children’s Cultural Institute is happy to announce the publication of TOYS, the first-of-its-kind color postcard series of toys created by sculptor Kardash Onnig.

TOYS is a handsomely designed package containing ten (5 x 7) full color postcards and ten envelopes, each capturing the unique hand crafted work of the artist. The five images (2 of each) reproduced in this publication include “The Drummer,” “The Cow,” and “The Snow Couple,” as well as two new works commissioned by the Ani & Narod Memorial Fund, Narod Institute’s parent organization – “The Song of Love,” a mini-puppet theater created in memory of two-and-a-half year old Narod Ardhaldjian, features cats, rabbits, snails and other animals loved by Narod; and “Gummy Worms Say-Bush Away!” created in an effort to promote dental health and hygiene among children.
