Armenian Weekly: Two Armenians Perish in Crash of USAir Flight 427NEW YORK – Last Thursday’s devastating crash of USAir flight 427, en route from Chicago to Pittsburgh, claimed the lives of Ani Naris Coherian Ardhaldjian, 36, and daughter, Narod, 2 1/2, both of Chicago.

Ardhaldjian was born in Manhattan and grew up in Queens, NY. She graduated from Queens College with a bachelor of science degree in sociology. She was working toward a master’s degree in market research. She married Raffi Ardhaldjian in August 1986, and resided in New York. In 1992 the Ardhaldjians moved to California, where they lived before moving to Chicago in July of this year.
